the last supper

We are now taking dinner reservations for Shaheen Sutton’s Moroccan edition of The Last Supper Club on Saturday 27th July. Shaheen is an innovative chef infamous locally for her vegetarian-pleasing vegan-friendly dishes served at the now sadly closed, Hunky Dory’s.

The Last Supper Club takes place on the last Saturday evening of each month from 7:00pm.

This is how it works…

A limited guest list consisting of 12 guests pay £12 per head in advance for an agreed three-course menu where anybody can be the chef for the night! Chef for the night in July (Sat 27th) is Shaheen Sutton who is preparing a series of Moroccan themed dishes.

The pot accumulated from all the twelve guests on the night gets divided as follows:-

£44 goes towards the buying of ingredients
£50 is a tip for the chef of the evening
£50 goes into the Barnabas Arts House coffers to keep us ticking over

The Last Supper Club is a BYOB (Bring Your Own Bottle) event and sees the lower level of Barnabas Arts House transformed into a restaurant for the evening. Guests do have to book IN ADVANCE due to reservations being limited to twelve.

Shaheen’s vegan-friendly Moroccan menu is as follows:-

A trio of starters:
