This Autumn sees the relaunch of the film club in the basement of Barnabas Arts House. Renamed ‘The Night’s Watch’, films will be recommended and reviewed by Janet Martin’s grandson, Dylan Crozier, who is currently studying Cinema at USW, Cardiff.

We start the season on Wednesday 20 October at 7pm with ‘The Father’. This highly acclaimed piece of cinema features Olivia Colman and Sir Anthony Hopkins.
The Night’s Watch will take place on Wednesday evenings and screenings will start just after 7pm. Bring your own refreshments. Cosy chairs – cosy atmosphere – look forward to seeing you.
“In this well written and carefully shot drama, Anthony Hopkins and Olivia Coleman unsurprisingly provide us gut wrenching performances in a maze of unexpected yet powerful scenes that continually unfold to tell a different story. This keeps you contemplating reality, and with the talent and experience of Sir Anthony, it provides an award-worthy perspective of people suffering from dementia.” Dylan Crozier – Oct 2021
