You may recall coming to see a group of talented young actors in training from London, perform a play called Lock Down a few years ago at Barnabas, written and directed by Katy, Jan’s daughter?
The play aims to explore the causes of youth violence and received brilliant reviews following its tour.
We are delighted to share the news with you that the play has been renamed Just My Boy, as Lock Down now means something very different to all of us. Just My Boy has been selected for inclusion in The International Youth Arts Festival and will be staged for one last time at the iconic Rose Theatre in London. Its the biggest venue yet for the cast and crew with an audience capacity of nearly 1000. Tickets go on sale soon via The Rose Theatre’s website. Keep a look out for updates! If you are interested in going please contact Jan for more details on 01633 673739.
